Workshop Portraiture with Elena Bushan

Recently I hosted the Calgary Sketch Club Workshop with Elena Bushan.

Great advice from Elena was orange is the colour usually  given tot he neck shadow.

Below is working at home  I still need to finish eyes and dark ness of background. Making up the colours for the face is  fun but I almost prefer the first version. A few more tweaks and I will be moving on to the next project. My granddaughter sent  another wonderful photo to try.
