C=Space FCA Exhibition

King Edwards C-Space (Creative Spaces) has four floors of art displayed and is open form 8 am - 8 pm for viewing. Recently the Federation of Canadian Artist rented three floors to showcase the works of the members. Here I am in my Wassily Kandinsky look alike dress (students will remember this lesson)with  the two works I sent to represent me.

Voice and Vision Sept 24th Airdrie Public Library

 I participated in the voice and vision project after many years of hearing about the project.  

The poem that I received was Home Shore by Jen Atkin

 This is the painting I compiled for the presentation.

Voice & Vision

 

The 7th Annual Voice and Vision collaboration paired 14 artists with 14 writers. Each created new works of writing and art, inspired by their partner’s work. This year’s entries feature oil and acrylic paintings, poetry, sculpture, graphite, prose, watercolour, and mixed media. Join us September 24, 2022, at the Airdrie Public Library for the full project unveiling and to celebrate the local arts community.

 Calgary Sketch Club Spring Show Dalhouse April 2nd, 2022

Don't miss the first show since cover began two years ago. Our biggest sale held at Dalhousie in NW Calgary. Here's a sneak peek at some of the 10 artworks I will bring.

I have captured my son waterskiing at Pine Lake in this one

Some tulips I arranged and painted on my deck

These little birdies were in abundance on our trees this fall

We have a few crows that are quite tame that hang around our front trees and lamp posts. I was even able to pet one of them. They used to caw and follow my daughter to school , she was terrified of them.

 I have been practising the portrait in oil  I have a demo coming up and thought I'd do a portrait, however the 1.5 hours allowed is not going to be enough time. So I'll  have to reconsider my demo media ... Perhaps something simple like apples, hmm
