Pastel Workshop with Gaye Adams

Gaye Adams workshop in Calgary was truly wonderful.  She had us working very diligently on a number of pieces, she jumped in with two feet herself showing us a committed work ethic, she demonstrated five (yes five) selections of artwork, three of which we used as our own art projects.  We were also working on our own pieces and her expertise was invaluable, thanks Gaye for making this possible. Here are my pieces

Jamaican Sweetheart

My Friend Beth was showing me this little sweetheart; I thought I'd like to paint it, so she got me the photo and i just love the stance in the little girls face. Check out he fca art show at edgemont community hall mar 9th thought it would be nice to put this one in the show next weekend. 

Pastel wine & carafe

Here is one I whipped up really quick today, not so tight, just need to add a touch more colour and I will call this one finished, but not literally
